May 2025Great valued hotel close to local attractions. Staff is super friendly and would definitely stay at again. Hotel tub and pool area spotless. You are located close to Cedar Point and only a couple miles away from the main strip of 250. This made the hotel a central location as we enjoy Marblehead, Vermillion, Port Clinton and Sandusky. Everything was less than 25 minutes away. Great Value!

May 2025The staff were very good people with the customer in mind. Lowering my rates because I choose to book through them and not third party sellers. Room was just what you would expect at a typical hotel experience. Very clean and acceptable at a fraction of those hotels around it. Give it a try and thank me later. And cheers South Shore Inn hopefully they tell you Matthew sent ya! ;)

September 2024This was my second stay at SSI, the first being two years ago. I was impressed with an updated room that was sparkling clean. The bed was comfortable, the linens soft, and the air conditioner nice and cold. It's an almost-unbeatable location about a 5-minute drive to the parking lot of Cedar Point - only beatable by a walkable hotel, but then you would pay 4x more. Breakfast had ample options, including yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, fruit, juices, bagels, cereal, and more. The staff was very friendly and kind! If my travels bring me back to Sandusky, this would be the first place I would look to find a room!
